I really like these, but the lids take forever to dry after washing them. Water gets up inside them, and obviously you don't want to get water in your dry storage containers. I ended up putting them on the furnace vent for a few hours to dry?Great containers though smaller than I expected.Using them for my dog treatsSmaller than I thought. Used for open bags of pretzels and other snacksSmall Using for non perishable storageNo instructions on cleaning so put in dishwasher. Warped and ruined before a single use. Waste of $$.You have to shop for these items somewhat carefully. It's easy to accidently get some that don't seal easily, or have clips on the edges requiring two hands.This operates by turning a locking wheel in the middle of the top, so it doesn't clip, but it's also not a slick push button. It's slightly harder to open, but still very easy, and I'd say closer in quality to premium food storage containers.The plastic containers are thick and durable, and could take a fall without cracking in most cases. They have a subtle reinforced design on two sides. The lids don't come up easily when the circles are turned into the locking position. Both lid and container feel strong and I've washed one of mine a few times because of what I store in it, and it's holding up nicely. The lid has many parts, but is straightforward in assembly. For all my bins except one, I've never had a reason to take them apart, and most probably will only do this very rarely.I'd really recommend not putting these in a dishwasher, as this kind of clear plastic never seems to last when it gets hot. It's easy to clean and normally for dry goods, so I think it's not worth machine washing. The box does claim it's safe on the upper rack.Despite using several of these many times per day for months, they are as good as new, and they show no real wear and tear, so I hope I can use these for many years without a problem. They have a small footprint, and they look interesting in my pantry, and the price is pretty low for something like this.All in all, there are very minor compromises to get a product that makes it easy to see what you're storing, and easy to access, and easy to store in an airtight condition. Great value.
