I have been searching for a ribbon storage solution that I could use in my craft room AND take with me on weekend crops. This solution is the closest I've found to being perfect.I love that the space between spools is adjustable, but the single slot could be just a smidgon wider so that I didn't have to take up 2 spots on some of my rolls. It is plenty deep enough for what I need.The units are stackable, so that makes it nice and help keeps things neet. I was a bit concerned about the way it closes; afraid that it is going to come open. Hasn't happened so far, but I might modify it with a velcro strap "just to be sure". That won't hinder the functioning of the unit.I try to keep my ribbon colors together and found that I actually have enough of each color family to fill one organizer with each color. This means that I actually need multiple organizers. I don't really mind, but now I need to designate a tote/carrier just for my ribbon boxes! Maybe I have too much ribbon....NOPE, a card maker/scrapbooker can never have too much ribbon!Overall, i will give this 5 stars because of its portability. If I was only staying at home, it isn't the solution I would choose.
